Soundmind Duo Ride Amapiano Wave with New Single Incazelo
Rising stars Soundmind, the talented sibling duo, are making waves in the South African music scene with their latest amapiano-inspired release, Incazelo. The duo recently opened for amapiano queen Mawhoo during the grand launch of her new office at the iconic Sun International stage — a major moment that marked a success in the path of the new sound venture.
Seen in close conversation with Mawhoo, Soundmind credits her as one of the influences behind their shift to amapiano:
“We’ve long been inspired by her energy and sound along with all the amapiano kings and queens ruling currently. That’s why amapiano felt like a natural transition to journey for us.”
Their new single Incazelo has already begun to make waves, airing on popular channels such as Channel O, Mzansi Magic, and several major radio stations including Gagasi FM. Celebrated DJ and presenter Collen Zondo recently congratulated the duo, saying, “Congra guys,” applauding them for achieving the sound in the unique private school way they did.
The track has also gained strong traction on Spotify, climbing steadily thanks to its infectious beat and heartfelt lyrics.
